Ever since we moved to Washington, I have been fascinated with the way the ferns unroll in the spring. I've meant to photograph them, but hadn't gotten around to it until a few weeks ago. We went for a nice hike at Tolmie State Park in late April and I finally got my long awaited images.
Tolmie State Park sits right on Puget Sound, so we often walk down to the water when we are done hiking. The boys like to skip stones, and I managed to catch one mid-skip.
Thanks for looking!
